Smart Screenshot Stitcher Privacy Policy

Information we do not collect
The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs. White Whale Soft does not receive personal information, screenshots, project data, edits, or exports from the app.
Purchases
Apple handles purchases and payment information. The app checks Apple-verified purchase records on your device to unlock Premium. White Whale Soft does not operate a purchase server or receive your payment details. Purchase and restore operations contact Apple's services; screenshots and projects are not sent with these requests.
Information processed on your device
To provide the features you request, the app locally processes screenshots, image metadata needed to decode them, overlap evidence, crop and seam settings, privacy masks, previews, project records, and export files. This processing takes place in the app or its Share extension on your device.
Photos
Choosing screenshots
Apple's system photo picker gives the app only the images you select for a stitch. Selected images are copied into the app's private workspace for local processing. General Photos-library read access is not required to choose screenshots.
Saving a result
The app asks for permission to add an export to Photos only when you choose Save to Photos. Saving a result does not give the app general permission to browse your library.
Optional Photos Cleanup
Broader Photos access is requested only if you choose Optional Photos Cleanup after a successful Photos save. The cleanup review lists exact source screenshots. It does not guess targets by filename, date, metadata, or image similarity. You choose which eligible sources to remove, and Photos shows its own confirmation before removal. The saved stitch and the app's private project copy remain unchanged.
Local storage and deletion
Projects, source copies, edits, previews, and temporary exports stay in the app's private containers. Delete a project from Projects to remove that project's saved local copies and edits. Starting a new job clears the live workspace without deleting saved projects or Photos originals.
Removing the app removes its private app data. Exports already saved to Photos, Files, or another destination remain there until you delete them from that destination.
Sharing and external destinations
When you use Share or Save to Files, Apple's system interface lets you choose a destination. That destination's provider handles the exported file under its own terms and privacy policy. White Whale Soft does not receive a copy.
Support communication
If you contact support by email, White Whale Soft uses the information you send only to respond and resolve your request. You may ask for that support correspondence to be deleted. Email is handled by your and the developer's email providers under their respective policies.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else. The local-processing practices described in this policy apply to every user.
Security
The app minimizes data exposure by keeping processing in private on-device containers and by using Apple system interfaces for Photos, Files, and sharing. No storage method can guarantee absolute security, so keep your device and operating system protected and up to date.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this page will identify the new effective date. Material changes will be published before a version that depends on them is released.
